When this option is chosen, the material is doubled or more in thickness at the edge, with the aim of preventing premature fraying or tearing of the advertising medium. To resist exceptional strains, a strip is sewn or welded into the hem.
As a general rule, edge reinforcement depends on the expected strain on the material and is carried out in accordance with your wishes.
